Easy Breakfast Cobbler

Ingredients:

  • 500g of Granola Cereal
  • 500g of Tart Apples, peeled and sliced
  • 2 tble of Brown Sugar
  • 1 tsp of Cinnamon
  • 120ml of Honey
  • 2 tble of Melted Butter

Procedure:

Coat the inside of a 3 to 4 Liter crock pot with non-stick cooking spray. Put in cereal, apples, brown sugar and cinnamon. Mix well. Stir together the honey and butter. Drizzle over the apple mixture. Gently mix, and then cover the crock pot. Cook on low heat for 8 hours.

These are just an example of the many ways you can fix a hearty and delicious breakfast ahead of time just by using your crock pot. If you happen to have 2 crock pots on hand, you can combine 2 of these recipes and have a REALLY special breakfast. These are great recipes to serve during the holidays, especially if you are expecting company. Everyone can get up on Christmas morning to open presents and no one has to worry about cooking!
