Crock Pot Cereal Snack

This recipe is a new way to fix an old favorite. You will see this and probably never knew it could be made in a crock pot.

Ingredients:

  • 500g of Cheerios
  • 700g of Rice Chex Cereal
  • 500g of Shredded Wheat Cereal
  • 250g of Peanuts, Pecans, or Cashews
  • 250g of Thin Pretzel Sticks
  • 50 ml of Butter, melted
  • 60 ml of Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 Dash of Tabasco Sauce
  • 1/2 tsp of Seasoned Salt
  • 1/2 tsp of Garlic Salt
  • 1/2 tsp of Onion Salt

Procedure:

Combine all of the cereals, nuts and pretzels in the crock pot. Mix the melted butter with the remaining ingredients. Pour this mixture over the cereal in the crock pot and toss lightly making sure to coat everything. DO NOT COVER THE CROCK POT! Cook on high heat for 2 hours, stirring the mixture well every 30 minutes. Next, turn the setting to low heat and cook for an additional 2 – 6 hours. To store, use an airtight container.
